RFE holiday challenge, is an activity to keep our reading going in the holidays, which is shown by completing 2-3 activities for each day for our books we have read, and posting the DLO’s on our blogs.
Today I have done 2 activities. The book I read was Witches by Roald Dahl and it is about how a young orphaned boy goes to live with his loving grandma in the rural Alabama town of Demopolis. As the boy and his grandmother encounter some deceptively glamorous but thoroughly dreadful witches, she wisely whisks him away to a seaside resort. Regrettably, they arrive at precisely the same time that the world’s Grand High Witch has gathered her fellow cronies from around the globe to carry out her nefarious plans undercover.
The main point of these activities was to draw my favorite character from my chosen book. The second activity was to create a comic strip, short animation or other of their interactions, on how two main characters from two different books would act if they met each other
